THE ORD's PRAYER

One of the classic group brainstormings composed late one night/early morning in May 2002 at the Claggan Farmhouse on Islay during FEIS ILE.

Yes, we WILL burn...  but hopefully it will be a peat-stoked fire...

Our Father, who art on Islay
Hallowed be thy dram
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Campbeltown.
Give us this day our daily skalk
And lead us not into moderation.
Deliver us from Loch Dhu.
Forgive us our FOAFs
As we forgive those who FOAF against us
For thine is the mash tun, the washback and the still room
And we are butt the ultimate spirit receivers.

Amen

It still needs some finetuning but we were totally immersed in the water of life when this was composed so it's a miracle it's as coherent as it is.

Proud to be PLOWED!
